Industrial park "Kola"

The “Kola” industrial park is a joint project of Russo-Turkish cooperation, the implementation of which is part of one of the areas of development of the North-West Federal District Socio-Economic Development Strategy. Russia is represented in the project by LLC “Tellus-Group” and Turkey is represented by CJSC “Renaissance Construction”. The project is implemented with the Turkish-Russian business council and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ankara directly participating in it. The project was launched in 2014.

The future industrial park is a large industrial site where warehouse and industrial facilities, a multifunctional public and business complex and a logistics center are planned to be built.

A good location of the park in the area where the ring motorway of Saint Petersburg and the Murmansk highway – M-18 “Kola” (Sverdlovsk township, Vsevolozhsk District) cross opens ample opportunities for the development of nearby areas. The surface area of the industrial park exceeds 120 ha and building development is supposed to encompass 650 thousand square meters. Projects of comprehensive development of territories of Saint Petersburg agglomerations are implemented and new residential areas are developed near the site of the future industrial park. A distance to the “Dybenko” subway station is 5 kilometers, to the “Saint Petersburg Big Port” – 20 kilometers; the “Ust-Luga” port, “Pulkovo” airport, and the river passenger port are located nearby. The closest railway branch is 2.3 km away.

The park will be built within eight years, including three years for developing transport ways and utilities. The amount of investments totals about 450 million US dollars. The project implementation will create jobs for over 5 000 residents of the area. The number of confirmed residents of the future industrial park is three.

The first stage of the project implementation includes building a transport access way from the M-18 motorway, internal transport access ways, developing utilities and engineering facilities across the territory.
