"Yuzhniye Vorota" industrial park

The “Yuzhniye Vorota” industrial park is being created to locate enterprises of hazard class 3, 4, and 5 with different production purposes in its territory.

A new non-developed land plot of 100 ha has been allocated in the industrial site of the town of Kommunar, Gatchina District, Leningrad Region for the Industrial Park location.

The “Yuzhniye Vorota” industrial park is a modern concept of an industrial and logistic complex and is included by the Russian Federation Industrial Park Association in the list of top 100 industrial parks of Russia.

The planned amount of investment costs to prepare the industrial park will total about 5 billion rubles. The project is planned to be implemented in two stages. During the first few years, the site is to be formalized, the new utility infrastructure is to be developed and the existing one must be reconstructed, the project planning is to be performed.

At the second stage to last for five years, industrial, logistic, administrative buildings and the internal utility infrastructure are to be built.

Construction works are to be financed by using the own funds of LLC “Yuzhniye Vorota” representing Beijing Dingshang Science and Technology Co., LTD, borrowed funds of credit institutions, and the participatory interest of enterprises to be installed.

The investor estimates that the project implementation involving construction of the industrial park will make it possible to create about 3 thousand new jobs.

The main advantage of the “Yuzhniye Vorota” industrial park is its location: convenient and quick access to the facilities of the sea port and the airport as well as the Oktiabrskaya railwat company on the boundary of the site. The park’s residents must include companies with a wide range of activities: from production of automotive, bus, and agricultural machines and automotive components to companies specializing in food production, textile industry, and pharmaceutics.

The business environment of the park is characterized by the presence of the following enterprises: Knauf (printing and publishing factory), SchneiderElectric (manufacture of equipment for developing the energy infrastructure of industrial facilities), Kommunar paper factory (production of packaging and technical types of paper and cardboard), GrandLine (production of metal building materials for low-rise construction).
